Artist Statement
Resume

Rose Camastro-Pritchett is a visual and performance artist who has lived in the Middle East, Europe and North Wales. This cross-cultural experience serves as the underpinning of her work.

She exhibits and performs internationally and has received numerous honors including; three Illinois Arts Council Project Grants, four Ragdale Residencies, two Albert P. Wiesman Memorial Scholarships, and a Lucerne, Switzerland Sister Cities Residency. Rose earned a BFA from Quincy University in Fine Arts, a MS from Western Illinois University in Counselor Education, and an MFA in Book and Paper Interdisciplinary Arts from Columbia College Chicago.

She lives in Chicago with her husband David. Her two grown children live on both coasts; Jenny in San Francisco, Jesse in Boston. Rose teaches in the AEMM Department at Columbia College Chicago and is President of Camastro-Pritchett Art International, a company focusing on business education for artists.
